Our Mission
We play different. We’re driven by commitment, not cash. The Paxton Sports Academy believes that championship-level basketball should be accessible to all with heart and a drive to win instead of just deep pocketbooks. Over the last two decades, Coach Tee has taken players from novices to champions, helping youth who never played before become outstanding athletes and for some, obtaining college scholarships. The teams have won championships as far away as Brooklyn and Chicago. We partner with the community to help provide financial support to keep basketball accessible for all.
How We Work
The Paxton Sports Academy is based in East Palo Alto and serves the surrounding communities. But we have had players come join from San Jose, East Bay and the Central Valley for this specialize form of trading. The tournament teams are high school ages and training is provided for 4th, 5th and 6th grades.
The PSA Way
Coach Tee grew up in Arkansas where individuals lived as a supporting community. You joined together and worked hard to get what you want and the community rewarded you back. You just didn’t throw money at a problem - you teamed together. With 15 years of experience, Coach Tee has a keen eye for raw talent and tailors his training and coaching at an individual level. He mixes hard physical work, agility training, skills training and pours decades of basketball knowledge in, resulting in complete players with high basketball IQ.
PSA needs YOU
Basketball became one of the most popular sports because ALL could play. PSA is dedicated to doing away with exclusionary walls where high-priced private clubs and training have locked out many from the sport the world loves. Many players who would have never seen a national tournament championship have benefitted from this approach. But tournaments and equipment still cost money and we need your support. As a fully licensed Non Profit (Reg # 46-2914627), we depend on donations from you to keep basketball accessible to all. Check with your employer to see if they have a matching program (e.g. Benevity). Thanks for supporting a good cause!
